Detoxing: Arbonne 30 days to healthy living (part 2)– my review

Well, week 2 is in the books. I am officially halfway through this detox/cleanse. Last week I saw an increase in my weight loss as well as an increase in my energy.

Was I 100% to plan? Nope.

Did I feel bad (physically) after I cheated? Yup. Seriously….. I had some pretty intense tummy issues… ­čĺę

This is a super easy plan to follow. I’m finding that the shakes make me feel like I no longer need to snack all day. My blood sugar levels are staying pretty level so I don’t crash and grab all the goodies from the snack shack at work.

Favorite recipes

Here are some of the shake recipes that I really like:


My absolute favorites are the almond butter shake┬á(tastes like a peanut butter cup) and the pumpkin spice shake┬á(tastes like a PSL). I only have the chocolate protein powder, but I’m sure I would enjoy the vanilla powder just as much!

Pros so far

  • Higher energy level
  • Increased weight loss
  • Better sleep
  • Less snack cravings
  • Balanced mood (my sweet husband is super pumped about this… I’m not as crazy!)

All of these pros are things I have experienced before from eating healthy, however this detox has allowed me to get there quicker! Y’all know I love me some instant gratification and this is pretty darn close!

Cons so far

  • Requires planning
  • The digestion support is not my favorite thing… tastes a little like medicine (however, when I mix it with a shake I can’t taste it at all!)
  • I have to wash my blender bottles a lot! Maybe I should just buy some more..
  • My husband keeps stealing scoops of my protein powder

All of these cons can be easily fixed. All meal plans require planning. I don’t like to eat the same thing everyday so that requires me to do more prep and planning than if I was fine with eating the same thing every day. As far as my husband stealing scoops goes, I’m going to have to do a better job of hiding my protein powder stash!

All in all, this has been a successful two weeks! Tomorrow I start the cleanse portion of the 30┬ádays…. we shall see how that goes!
